After 24 minutes of flight, the satellite separated from the rocket, and entered the planned Earth-Moon transfer orbit with the perigee at 200 kilometers and the apogee at 420,000 kilometers. Beijing – O satélite de retransmissão chinês Queqiao-2 realizou com sucesso o procedimento de travagem perto da Lua e entrou na sua órbita circumlunar, anunciou nesta segunda-feira a Administração Espacial Nacional da China (CNSA, sigla em inglês).
Após cerca de 112 horas de voo, o satélite começou a realizar frenagens perto da Lua a uma distância de cerca de 440 km da superfície lunar às 12h46 (horário de Beijing) de segunda-feira e entrou em sua órbita circumlunar tranquilamente 19 minutos depois, disse a CNSA.
Ao ajustar a altitude e a inclinação da órbita circumlunar, o Queqiao-2 entrará em sua órbita elíptica alvo ao redor da Lua e realizará o teste de comunicações com as sondas lunares Chang’e-4 e Chang’e-6, conforme planejado.
