Beijing – O consumo de energia por unidade do PIB da China diminuiu 11,6% nos primeiros quatro anos do 14º Plano Quinquenal (2021-2025), disse Zheng Shanjie, chefe da Comissão Nacional de Desenvolvimento e Reforma, nesta quarta-feira.
Essa redução equivale a um corte de 1,1 bilhão de toneladas de emissões de dióxido de carbono, quase 50% do total das emissões de carbono da União Europeia em 2024, de acordo com Zheng.
“As ações da China demonstram plenamente a responsabilidade de um grande país”, observou Zheng.
