China lança estrutura para títulos verdes soberanos

Beijing – O Ministério das Finanças da China divulgou uma estrutura para títulos verdes soberanos nesta quinta-feira, estabelecendo a base para que o país emita títulos verdes soberanos no exterior e o capital global invista em seu desenvolvimento verde.
Os fundos levantados por títulos verdes no âmbito dessa estrutura serão alocados para projetos verdes elegíveis incluídos no orçamento fiscal central. Estima-se que os fundos contribuam para alcançar os objetivos ambientais, como mitigação e adaptação às mudanças climáticas, proteção dos recursos naturais, controle da poluição e preservação da biodiversidade.
Essa iniciativa tem como objetivo diversificar a gama de produtos de títulos verdes de alta qualidade no mercado global e atrair capital internacional para apoiar o desenvolvimento verde e de baixo carbono doméstico, informou o ministério.
