Missão espacial sino-europeia realiza teste de extensão do magnetômetro
Beijing, 23 fev – Uma missão espacial conjunta China-Europa, Solar Wind Magnetossphere Ionossphere Link Explorer (SMILE), realizou com sucesso o teste de extensão de seu magnetômetro de carga na Europa, informou o Science and Technology Daily nesta quarta-feira.
O teste mostra que a função e o desempenho do subsistema magnetômetro integrado ao módulo de carga atendem aos requisitos da missão e que os pesquisadores da China e da Europa chegaram a um acordo sobre as especificações de desenvolvimento, processo técnico, métodos de teste e padrões de avaliação.
O magnetômetro é um conjunto de equipamentos de detecção de alta precisão do campo magnético vetorial espacial. É usado para detectar o vetor tridimensional do campo magnético espacial e obter os dados de detecção sobre o tamanho e direção do campo magnético eólico solar.
O magnetômetro chegou ao Centro Europeu de Pesquisa e Tecnologia Espacial (ESTEC) da Agência Espacial Europeia (ESA) no mês passado para teste de vácuo térmico, de acordo com a Academia Chinesa de Ciências (CAS).
A missão SMILE é uma colaboração abrangente entre a CAS e ESA. O magnetômetro da missão foi desenvolvido pelo Laboratório Estatal de Tempo Espacial do Centro Nacional de Ciência Espacial da CAS.
Espera-se que a missão envie satélites para o espaço antes do final de 2024.
