Macau – Uma conferência ministerial especial do Fórum para a Cooperação Econômica e Comercial entre a China e os Países de Língua Portuguesa, também conhecido como Fórum de Macau, foi realizada neste domingo na Região Administrativa Especial de Macau (RAEM) da China com foco no combate à epidemia e no desenvolvimento comum.
Delegados governamentais da China e oito países de língua portuguesa (Angola, Brasil, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique, Portugal, São Tomé e Príncipe e Timor-Leste) participaram da reunião online.
Importantes oficiais governamentais em Macau, como Ho Hau Wah, vice-presidente do Comitê Nacional da Conferência Consultiva Política do Povo Chinês, Ho Iat Seng, chefe do Executivo da RAEM, e Fu Ziying, diretor do Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central na RAEM, participaram da cerimônia de abertura.
Fundado em Macau em 2003, o fórum destina-se a reforçar as trocas econômicas e comerciais entre a China e os países de língua portuguesa, elevando o papel da região como plataforma econômica e comercial que liga os dois lados e promovendo o desenvolvimento comum da parte continental da China, dos países lusófonos e da RAEM.
