Beijing – O observatório nacional da China manteve nesta quinta-feira o alerta laranja para altas temperaturas já que uma intensa onda de calor perdura em várias regiões do país.
Durante o dia hoje, partes de Xinjiang, Mongólia Interior, Shaanxi, Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian e Guizhou devem experimentar altas temperaturas acima de 35 graus Celsius, segundo o Centro Meteorológico Nacional.
As temperaturas em partes de Shaanxi, Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Anhui e Zhejiang podem ultrapassar 40 graus Celsius, apontou a entidade.
O centro aconselhou o público a evitar atividades ao ar livre durante períodos de alta temperatura e sugeriu que os trabalhadores reduzissem a duração da exposição a altas temperaturas ao ar livre.
Também devem ser tomadas medidas para evitar incêndios causados por cargas excessivas de energia em fios e transformadores, devido ao consumo excessivo de eletricidade.
A China tem um sistema de alerta meteorológico de quatro níveis, codificado por cores, com o vermelho representando o alerta mais grave, seguido por laranja, amarelo e azul.
