Beijing, 12 abr – Menos incêndios florestais ocorreram na China no ano passado, informou o Ministério de Gestão de Emergências nesta terça-feira.
No total, 616 incêndios florestais eclodiram no país em 2021, nenhum de grande escala, disse Peng Xiaoguo, oficial da pasta.
Foi a primeira vez que o número caiu abaixo de mil desde a fundação da República Popular da China em 1949, revelou Peng, acrescentando que o total da área florestal afetada e o número de vítimas também caíram.
No primeiro trimestre de 2022, a China registrou 103 incêndios florestais e nove incêndios em pradarias, menos do que o normalmente registrado, segundo o ministério.
