The three astronauts aboard China's Shenzhou-21 spaceship have entered the country's space station and met with another astronaut trio early Saturday morning, starting a new round of in-orbit crew handover. The Shenzhou-20 crew opened the hatch at 4:58 a.m. (Beijing Time) and greeted the new arrivals, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA). The six crew members then took group pictures for the seventh space get-together in China's aerospace history. Jiuquan – A tripulação da Shenzhou-20 da China concluiu a transferência em órbita com a tripulação da Shenzhou-21 e está programada para retornar à Terra em 5 de novembro.
As duas tripulações realizaram uma cerimônia de transferência e transferiram as chaves da estação espacial do país nesta terça-feira.
Até o momento, o trio da Shenzhou-20 – Chen Dong, Chen Zhongrui e Wang Jie – concluiu todas as tarefas planejadas e está pronto para retornar ao local de pouso de Dongfeng, na Região Autônoma da Mongólia Interior, no norte da China.
Atualmente, o local de pouso, bem como todos os sistemas de apoio, estão se preparando para receber o retorno dos astronautas, de acordo com a Agência Espacial Tripulada da China.
