Beijing, 17 jan – O recente ressurgimento da COVID-19 na China tem sido, em geral, estabilizado, pois o país conseguiu controlar os surtos em algumas áreas em tempo hábil, informou a Comissão Nacional de Saúde neste sábado.
A China agora enfrenta desafios causados principalmente por casos importados e um movimento de viagens nacionais na próxima temporada de férias, disse He Qinghua, funcionário da comissão, em uma coletiva de imprensa.
A parte continental da China registrou no sábado 65 novos casos de COVID-19 transmitidos localmente, incluindo 33 em Tianjin, 29 em Henan, e um em Beijing, Guangdong e Shaanxi, mostram dados oficiais.
A maioria dos casos de COVID-19 em Tianjin nos últimos três dias foi detectada entre pessoas sob quarentena, indicando que a possibilidade de propagação do vírus na cidade está diminuindo, disse He.
O funcionário destacou esforços contínuos para administrar os pontos de quarentena, acrescentando que a força-tarefa de interagências do Conselho de Estado para a resposta à COVID-19 havia enviado um grupo de trabalho para orientar o trabalho antiepidêmico em Tianjin.
Ele acrescentou que o surto em Xi’an, capital da Província de Shaanxi, basicamente atenuou-se, enquanto Henan ainda enfrenta riscos de infecções comunitárias.
