Hospital de prestígio instala filial em Xiong’an, na China

Shijiazhuang – O Hospital Popular da Universidade de Pequim, um dos principais hospitais de Beijing, iniciou a construção de uma nova filial na Nova Área de Xiong’an, na província vizinha de Hebei, na segunda-feira.
Situado na área de Rongdong, a nova filial abrange 114,6 mu (7,64 hectares) e terá mil leitos, disse o comitê administrador da Nova Área de Xiong’an.
Wang Jun, chefe do Hospital Popular da Universidade de Pequim, disse que a filial de Xiong’an servirá como um centro médico nacional, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento coordenado de serviços médicos e de saúde na região de Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
Fundado em 1918, o Hospital Popular da Universidade de Pequim evoluiu para um hospital moderno e abrangente, integrando cuidados médicos, ensino, pesquisa e serviços de saúde.
Em outubro, a filial Xiong’an do Hospital Xuanwu Afiliado à Universidade Médica da Capital, com sede em Beijing, iniciou operações de teste.
A China anunciou em abril de 2017 um plano de criar a Nova Área de Xiong’an, localizada a cerca de 100 km de Beijing.
Como um passo fundamental para avançar o desenvolvimento coordenado da região Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Xiong’an foi projetado como um grande destinatário das funções não essenciais de Beijing como capital da China, e para explorar um novo modelo de desenvolvimento em áreas densamente povoadas.
