Shanghai, 19 abr — O centro econômico chinês Shanghai registrou na segunda-feira 3.084 casos confirmados de COVID-19 transmitidos localmente e 17.332 portadores assintomáticos locais, informou a comissão municipal de saúde nesta terça-feira.
Também na segunda-feira, sete mortes por COVID-19 foram relatadas na cidade, com idades das vítimas variando entre 60 e 101 anos, de acordo com a autoridade.
Todos os falecidos tinham sérias condições de saúde subjacentes, tais como doença coronariana, diabetes, hipertensão, sequelas de infarto cerebral e hemorragia cerebral, revelou Wu Qianyu, funcionária da comissão, acrescentando que nenhum dos idosos tinha sido vacinado contra a COVID-19.
Na segunda-feira, 1.211 casos confirmados localmente tiveram alta hospitalar em Shanghai e 22.075 assintomáticos foram liberados da quarentena, mais do que o número de casos positivos da COVID-19 relatados no mesmo dia.
