Washington – O Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI) previu nesta segunda-feira que a economia da China cresça 5,2% em 2023, 0,8 ponto percentual acima da previsão de outubro de 2022.
“Espera-se que o crescimento se acelere na China com a reabertura total em 2023”, disse o FMI na atualização recém-lançada do relatório World Economic Outlook.
Estima-se que o crescimento global caia de uma projeção de 3,4% em 2022 para 2,9% em 2023 e, em seguida, aumente para 3,1% em 2024, disse o FMI, observando que a taxa histórica média de crescimento entre 2000 e 2019 é de 3,8%.
O FMI disse que o aumento das taxas dos bancos centrais para combater a inflação e o conflito Rússia-Ucrânia continuam a pesar sobre a atividade econômica.
