China mira bolos da lua superfaturados antes do Festival do Meio Outono

Beijing – A China fortalecerá a fiscalização sobre o superfaturamento de bolos da lua, que são iguarias tradicionais e presentes populares durante o Festival do Meio Outono, para reduzir o desperdício e promover o desenvolvimento saudável da indústria.
Os departamentos de regulação do mercado realizarão inspeções de empresas, hotéis, restaurantes e plataformas de comércio eletrônico que produzem ou vendem bolos da lua e punirão rigorosamente as violações, de acordo com a Comissão Nacional de Desenvolvimento e Reforma.
A comissão e três outros órgãos do governo emitiram um aviso em junho, determinando que estas iguarias não devem ser embrulhadas em metais preciosos, jacarandá ou outros materiais caros, e não devem ser vendidas em caixas pré-embaladas com outras mercadorias.
Ingredientes caros, como barbatanas de tubarão e ninhos de pássaros comestíveis, não devem ser usados para rechear bolos da lua, aponta o documento. Uma pesquisa de custo será realizada, se necessário, em qualquer conjunto de bolos da lua encaixotados que seja vendido a um preço superior a 500 yuans (US$ 74).
A Festival do Meio Outono cai no dia 10 de setembro deste ano, é um festival tradicional geralmente marcado por reuniões familiares, lua cheia e consumo de bolos da lua.
