Beijing, 14 abr (China) — A China pede que a Turquia conheça a essência de Abudukadir Yapuquan como terrorista e revogue sua decisão equivocada para evitar sérias repercussões negativas nas relações China-Turquia, advertiu Zhao Lijian, porta-voz do Ministério das Relações Exteriores, nesta terça-feira.
O porta-voz fez as observações em uma conferência de imprensa quando solicitado a comentar a decisão da Turquia de recusar o pedido de extradição da China para Abudukadir Yapuquan, que é suspeito de cometer o crime de terrorismo como membro do Movimento Islâmico do Turquistão Oriental (ETIM). De acordo com informações, o lado turco suspendeu as medidas de controle judicial e as restrições de saída a Abudukadir Yapuquan.
“O ETIM é uma organização terrorista listada pelo Conselho de Segurança da ONU e é reconhecida como tal pela Turquia”, afirmou Zhao, acrescentando que Abudukadir Yapuquan, que planejou atividades terroristas em território chinês muitas vezes, é um dos idealizadores do ETIM.
A China está fortemente insatisfeita e se opõe firmemente à decisão do tribunal turco, disse.
