Beijing – O Ministério dos Recursos Hídricos da China ativou no domingo uma resposta de emergência de nível IV aos riscos de inundação em certas regiões do norte, centro e noroeste da China.
De segunda a quarta-feira, fortes chuvas atingirão as províncias de Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi e Gansu, o que causará grande aumento do nível de água dos rios nas regiões, disse o ministério.
Espera-se que os níveis de água de vários rios excedam suas linhas de alerta, de acordo com o ministério.
Os departamentos locais devem tomar medidas de precaução, e grupos de trabalho foram enviados para Hebei e Shanxi para orientar os trabalhos locais de prevenção de enchentes, disse o ministério.
A China tem um sistema de resposta de emergência de controle de inundações de quatro níveis, com o nível I sendo a resposta mais severa.
