BMW lançará carro totalmente elétrico 3 Series exclusivamente para mercado chinês
Berlim, 1º abr – A montadora alemã BMW anunciou nesta quinta-feira que lançará o primeiro carro totalmente elétrico 3 Series exclusivamente para o mercado chinês em maio de 2022.
O BMW i3 eDrive35L, a ser construído na fábrica da BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. em Shenyang, na Província de Liaoning, nordeste da China, é o “ajuste perfeito para os requisitos particulares” do mercado chinês, disse a empresa.
Em comparação com o modelo padrão 3 Series, a distância entre eixos do carro é 11 centímetros maior. Além disso, o sistema operacional BMW OS8, bem como peças digitais, como conectividade avançada, devem ser construídos na série de modelos pela primeira vez.
Em 2021, as vendas globais do BMW Group, que inclui as marcas Rolls Royce e MINI, aumentaram 8,4%, para mais de 2,52 milhões de unidades, com a marca BMW estabelecendo um novo recorde de vendas de 2,2 milhões de unidades.
Na China, maior mercado único da empresa, as vendas totais de veículos aumentaram 8,9% em termos anuais. Com 847.935 veículos BMW e MINI entregues, o grupo registrou um novo recorde de vendas no país pelo segundo ano consecutivo.
