Beijing – Beijing relatou um recorde de boa qualidade do ar em julho, com leitura mensal do PM2,5 caindo para 16 microgramas por metro cúbico, informaram autoridades nesta segunda-feira.
É o terceiro mês consecutivo de baixa densidade recorde de PM2,5, depois de 20 microgramas por metro cúbico em maio e 18 microgramas por metro cúbico em junho indicou o Departamento Municipal de Ecologia e Meio Ambiente.
Em julho, as concentrações médias mensais de PM10, dióxido de enxofre e dióxido de nitrogênio foram de 32 microgramas, 2 microgramas e 14 microgramas por metro cúbico, respectivamente, registrando os níveis mensais mais baixos desde o início dos registros.
De janeiro a julho, a leitura média de PM2,5 na capital chinesa foi de 37 microgramas por metro cúbico, a menor para o mesmo período da história.
De janeiro a julho, as autoridades de Beijing tomaram uma série de medidas para combater a poluição do ar, incluindo a promoção de veículos de nova energia e a supervisão de veículos a diesel.
PM2,5 são partículas transportadas pelo ar com diâmetro inferior a 2,5 micrômetros e representam sérios riscos à saúde.
