Beijing, 26 abr (China) — A China expressou nesta segunda-feira sua oposição ao uso arbitrário de sanções unilaterais ou à ameaça de sanções, dizendo que tais ações constituem política de poder e bullying hegemônico, que são impopulares e enfrentam resistência crescente.
O porta-voz do Ministério das Relações Exteriores, Wang Wenbin, fez os comentários durante uma coletiva de imprensa diária em resposta sobre a recente expulsão de diplomatas russos pelos Estados Unidos e alguns países europeus.
A China sempre defende que os países devem resolver adequadamente suas diferenças por meio de consultas iguais com base no respeito mútuo, disse Wang.
Observando que a situação global da COVID-19 ainda é muito grave, o porta-voz salientou que ao enfrentar os desafios comuns da humanidade, a comunidade internacional deve trabalhar em conjunto para superar as dificuldades, responder em conjunto às novas ameaças e desafios, contribuir para a recuperação rápida da economia global e promover a paz e segurança internacionais.
A China e a Rússia desfrutam de uma parceria de coordenação estratégica abrangente para uma nova era, lembrou Wang, acrescentando que os dois lados continuarão se entendendo e apoiando mutuamente na salvaguarda de suas respectivas soberania, segurança e interesses de desenvolvimento.
