
Beijing, 8 mar (China) — O governo chinês ratificou oficialmente o acordo da Parceria Econômica Abrangente Regional (RCEP), disse o ministro do Comércio, Wang Wentao, na segunda-feira.
Alguns países membros também estão acelerando seus procedimentos e espera-se que os eles possam, finalmente, atingir o limiar de entrada em vigor, disse Wang a repórteres durante a atual sessão legislativa nacional.
São necessárias ratificações de seis países membros da Associação das Nações do Sudeste Asiático (ASEAN) e três países não membros da ASEAN para atingir o limiar, e quanto mais cedo o acordo entrar em vigor, mais cedo os povos dos países membros serão beneficiados, disse ele.
O acordo da RCEP, o maior de livre comércio do mundo, foi assinado em meados de novembro de 2020 por 10 países membros da ASEAN e China, Japão, República da Coreia, Austrália e Nova Zelândia.
