Beijing, 31 mar (China) — A China é o primeiro país a conduzir um estudo conjunto sobre as origens da COVID-19 com a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), disse nesta quarta-feira um especialista chinês de alto escalão.
A história das doenças infecciosas diz a nós que se leva geralmente muito tempo para identificar a origem de uma nova doença infecciosa e ter as descobertas aceitas globalmente, disse Liang Wannian, chefe da equipe do do lado chinês da equipe OMS-China de estudo das origens da COVID-19.
Falando em uma coletiva de imprensa dos especialistas chineses que participaram do estudo conjunto, Liang observou que o lugar onde um vírus é primeiramente relatado não é necessariamente o ponto originar do vírus.
